Ronald Infield

Ronald R. Infield, age 66, of Cassville, passed away on Thursday, December 5, 2013, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on April 25, 1947, in Boscobel, the son of Ed and Marge (Mulholland) Infield. Ronald graduated from Lancaster High School in 1965. He furthered his education at UW-Whitewater where he earned a degree in business. On June 8, 1968, Ronald was united in marriage to Kristin Kuenster in Lancaster. After their marriage, the couple owned and operated the Sandbar Supper Club from 1975 until 1990. Ronald was also employed with Langmeier Lumber until his retirement in 2009. He was an avid sports fan; he especially enjoyed watching the Dodgers, Badgers, and Packers. Ronald also enjoyed golfing, bowling, and playing beanbags. His greatest joy came from spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Survivors include his loving wife, Kristin, Cassville; their children: Todd (Kristin) Infield, Cassville; Amy (Jim) McNett, Evansville; Tara (Shane) Nix, Cassville; Chad (Jodi) Infield, Cassville; ten grandchildren: Max, Allison, Jillian, Hunter, Madelyn, Riley, Ben, Mason, Hannah, and Sam; his step-mother, Vivian Infield, Troy Mills, IA; a brother, Ed (Phyllis) Infield, Prairie du Chien, other relatives and many friends.

In addition to his parents, Ronald was preceded in death by a sister, Marcia Vesperman and his mother and father-in-law, Judy and Betty Kuenster.

Funeral services were held on Monday, December 9, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cassville with Father William Seipp officiating. Burial was in St. Charles Cemetery, Cassville. Family and friends called on Sunday, December 8, 2013, from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the Martin Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cassville and on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until time of services.


Todd A. Infield

Todd Allen Infield, age 44, passed away on Monday, March 3, 2014, at Gundersen Health System in La Crosse. He was born on March 9, 1969, in Lancaster, the son of Ronald and Kristin (Kuenster) Infield. Todd graduated from Cassville High School in 1987. He then graduated from University of Wisconsin in Platteville and received his Doctorate of Law from Marquette University. Todd was employed with Attorneys Kramer & Brownlee in Fennimore. He later moved his practice to Lancaster, and opened Infield Law Office. Todd served many civic, county, and various municipalities, which he felt was an honor and a privilege. He was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church and its Knights of Columbus, Grant County Bar and State Bar of Wisconsin Association. Todd was an avid Badger and Dodger fan. His greatest love was spending time with his wife, Kristin, and their children, Riley and Ben.

Survivors include his wife, Kristin and their children, Riley and Ben; his mother, Kristin Krick; his siblings: Amy (Jim) McNett; Tara (Shane) Nix; Chad (Jodi); his father and mother-in-law, Douglas (Gail) Grimsled and their family: Eric (Janelle); Kara (Travis Witham); Brandon (Jolee); his grandmother-in-law, Camilla Grimsled; many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Todd was preceded in death by his father, Ronald, and an aunt, Marcia Vesperman.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, March 8, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Charles Catholic Church in Cassville with Father John Meinholz officiating. Burial was in St. Charles Cemetery, Cassville. Family and friends called on Friday, March 7, 2014, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at St. Charles Catholic Church and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at the church. In lieu of plants and flowers, a Todd A. Infield Memorial Fund has been established. Martin Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cassville is assisting the family.


Florence Irish

Florence A. Irish, age 92, of Lancaster, passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2017, at Mercy Medical Center in Dubuque, IA. She was born on August 26, 1924, in Dubuque, IA, the daughter of William and Dorothy (Wright) Haudenshield, and lived through the Great Depression and World War II. Florence graduated from Jefferson Junior High School in 1939, and Dubuque Senior High School in 1942, and later attended the University of Dubuque. She was employed at Dubuque Packing Company and Chicago Sewing Machine Company. It was during her employment with Westinghouse Radio Company where she met Clyde Irish, Jr. and they were married on February 3, 1949, in Winona, MN. Together they farmed the Irish family farm in South Lancaster Township. Florence worked side by side with her husband, Clyde. She was a homemaker, outstanding cook, raised many gardens, milked cows, and took care of livestock from the 1950's to the 1990's. Florence was also an artist, seamstress, and an avid reader. She was a charter member of the Lancaster Seventh-Day Adventist Church since 1960. Florence attributed her long life to the Biblical principles. She enjoyed driving the many red Buicks that she owned.

Survivors include her son, Gary (Karen) Irish; a daughter, Susan (Richard) Gilbertson; and many grand-dogs; nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, Florence was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde; her sisters: Elvira (Herbert) McMahon, Elaine (Ken) Einsweiler; her grandfather, Jacob "Big Jake" Haudenshield, who was a sheriff in Dubuque and her uncle, Sidney Haudenshield, who owned Haudenshield Funeral Home in Dubuque.

Funeral services were held Sunday, March 19, 2017, at 1:30 p.m. at Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Lancaster with Pastor Samuel Garbi officiating. Burial was in Hillside Cemetery, Lancaster. Family and friends called on Sunday from 12:00 noon until time of services at the church. Martin Schwartz Funeral Home & Crematory in Lancaster is serving the family.


Gail R. Irish

Gail R. Irish, age 60, of Prairie du Chien, died on Friday, December 18, 2009, at St. Joseph Rehabilitation Center in LaCrosse. She was born on August 4, 1949, in Prairie du Chien, WI, the daughter of William and Clara (McKinney) Cooley. She graduated from Prairie du Chien High School and married Delford B. Irish. He preceded her in death on July 12, 1995. She worked as a waitress in Prairie du Chien, and later at Ray-O-Vac in Fennimore; and finally for Home Care Select.

She is survived by two daughters: Nyssa (Carlos) Guerrero, of LaCrosse; and Tegan Irish, of Las Vegas, NV; one sister, Sandra (Luther) Mead, of Cold Spring, TX; and one brother, Roger (Mary) Cooley, of Fennimore.

Gail was also preceded in death by a brother, Edward Cooley.

Friends called from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Monday, December 21, 2009 at the Martin Funeral Home in Bloomington; where a brief prayer service was held at 1:00 p.m. Burial was in the Beetown Cemetery, Beetown Township.


Kathryn A. Irish

Kathryn A. Irish, age 55, of Livingston, died on Friday, August 27, 2010, at her residence.

A Celebration of Life service was held on Tuesday, August 31, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. at the Spring Shelter at Lancaster Memorial Park, Lancaster. Friends called from 9:00 a.m. until time of services in the Lancaster Memorial Park. The Martin Funeral Home in Lancaster is assisting the family.


Marilyn Irish

Marilyn R. Irish, age 87, of Potosi, died Friday, March 7, 2014, at Grant Regional Health Center in Lancaster. Marilyn was born on April 6, 1926 in Beetown, a daughter of Dustin and Ocea (Laufenberg) Potter. She was united in marriage to Richard Irish on February 3, 1945 in Lancaster.

Marilyn was a farm wife, and shared her husbands passion for farming, trapping, and buying furs. She also worked at the Lancaster Care Center for many years, where she made many close friends. Marilyn also enjoyed bird watching, angels, flowers, gardening, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Marilyn is survived by her two sons, Brian, and Brent (Jackie), both of Potosi; her six grandchildren, Raina (Scott) Heckel, Jennifer (Timothy) Irish, Justin (Jessica) Irish, Jeremy Irish, Jesse Irish, and Nathan (Amy) Irish; 3 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; two sisters, Dorothy Allbee of Potosi, and Opal (Harley) Turner of Dubuque; her beloved dog, Babe; and many nieces and nephews and other relatives & friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard in 2000; her parents; a son, Gary; her daughter, Kathryn Irish; a daughter-in-law, Rose Irish; her brothers, LaVern and Cecil Potter; three sisters, Glenice Albee, Hazel Levins, and Lulu Pritchett; a brother-in-law, Lorraine Laugeson; and her close friend, Patsy Rice.

Funeral Services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 11, 2014, at Christ Lutheran Church in Lancaster, with Pastor David Froemming officiating. Burial was in Boice Creek Cemetery, Potosi Township. Friends called from 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday, March 10, and one hour prior to the service Tuesday at the church. Martin Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Lancaster is assisting the family.
